Remembrance Day 2026

Published: November 06 2026 11:58

Wednesday, Nov 11, 2026 is Remembrance Day.

This day is a special time to honour the memory and legacy of fallen Canadians, veterans, and current service members who have served and sacrificed so much for our country. Nov 11th is the anniversary of the Armistice agreement of 1918 that ended the First World War. Initially called Armistice Day until it was renamed Remembrance Day in 1931, Canadians have remembered every year since 1919.

The Village Office and Library will be CLOSED in respect of the day.

We will remember them.
