The Chester Village Commission's May 21st Monthly Meeting agenda(193 KB) and agenda package(2.36 MB) are now available - please note this month's meeting starts at 4:00 pm rather than the usual 6:00 pm. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Items of interest to the public include Community Grants to local organizations for public events and final confirmation of the Village 2025/26 Annual Budget. Please note that the nomination deadline to run in the Village Election is June 4th at 5:00 pm and the Village Annual General Meeting is coming up on June 11th at 6:30 pm.

The meeting is held in-person at the Village office (27 Pleasant Street) as well as online. The public is welcome!

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Village of Chester’s annual meeting of electors is being held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 6:30pm at the Village Commission office, 27 Pleasant Street, Chester.

At this meeting, the audited 2024/25 Financial Statements will be presented as well as an overview of Village Commission activities. The public is welcome and encouraged to join us!

The meeting agenda will be posted closer to the event. It will be held in person and online.

The Chester Village Commission is holding an Audit Committee meeting to kick-off the accounting audit process for the 2024/25 fiscal year. The meeting  agenda(185 KB) and  agenda package(2.11 MB) are now available.

The meeting begins at 6:00 pm and is held in-person at the Village office (27 Pleasant Street) as well as online. The public is welcome!

Following the Audit Committee meeting, there will be a short Special Meeting to review an RFP awarding (contract). That meeting agenda(162 KB) is available here.
